Description
Technical resource in regard to production floor equipment. Provides technical support for equipment related improvements and projects.

Improvement - Using a strong knowledge base of facility technology and production floor equipment and processes, develops and drives concepts for continuous improvement.

Project Team Support - On capital projects, is a resource to the project manager/engineer to ensure that modifications on the production floor are properly planned, executed, and started-up. Accountabilities will include new equipment integration, equipment capability review, coordination with vendors and suppliers, and on-site start-up support.

Project Team Support (Equipment) - On capital projects, is responsible for equipment specification, procurement, installation, and start-up of production floor equipment. Accountable to ensure that equipment purchased for the project starts-up successfully and performs reliably long term.

Project Leadership - For small budget and low complexity projects in area of responsibility, will be required to take a lead role. This will require utilization of the project execution process for; project development and planning, project implementation, and project start-ups.

Standards and Specifications - Consistently uses company engineering standards and specifications. Works to develop new standards where needed and keeps existing standards accurate and up to date. For project specific work, develops detailed and accurate engineering documentation.

Problem Solving - Uses disciplined problem solving techniques to address internal issues. Troubleshoots & provides solutions on technical/performance issues.

Reliability - Technical resource for the maintenance and reliability groups. Proactively engages with customer groups to help identify reliability issues and to facilitate improvements. Participates in RCA's and FMEA's as requested
Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- 5+ years of maintenance and/or manufacturing experience in an ice cream manufacturing environment. Some leadership experience preferred.
- Continuous improvement methodologies, Reliability methodologies, Process improvement capabilities. Wells production equipment and processes.
- Decision Making Communication Technical/Mechanical Troubleshooting and Problem Solving.
- Work in both individual and team settings Solve Complex Problems.
