Job Summary: The Assistant Director of Housing Facilities has the primary responsibility of the development and delivery of maintenance services for direct support of on-campus students through the day-to-day coordination of the Housing Facilities staff. This position is responsible for supervision and management of the staff team, building/construction/capital projects, inspections, planning, reporting, preventative maintenance, and administration. This position also ensures compliance with fire and building regulations and codes, management of short and long term projects, and collaborates with UWF Facilities Management when necessary.

 

Minimum Qualifications: Master’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization and two years of appropriate experience: or a bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization and four years of appropriate experience.

 

Position Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in facilities and/or construction management, or a closely related field, and a minimum of four years of full-time experience. Vast knowledge of University Housing operations specific to building and construction management, building regulations and codes, and/or capital projects planning. Experience with budgeting, direct supervision, and strategic planning required.

 

Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree in college student personnel, facilities and/or construction management, or a closely related field, and a minimum of three years of full-time experience. Demonstrated experience working with college student populations in living/learning residential communities.

Salary:  $53,000 - $57,000 annually.
