Graphic Designer #1721
The Graphic Designer for Swift Communications Design Team will join a team of talented designers in creating innovative and effective page designs in order to draw our readers to various articles and products.
Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to): Creates and builds ads. Downloading, preflight, and load camera-ready ads from e-mail and websites into our system. Corrections on all ads as needed. Create flyers and promotional pieces for special sections. Executes "early proof" requests and work orders as needed. Adheres to daily deadlines. Process photos for all types of ads. Scanning photos and artwork. Performs miscellaneous duties at the discretion of the Creative Services Manager and/or Creative Supervisor.

Qualifications: Excellent verbal and written communications skills. Proficient typing skills with good grammar, spelling and punctuation. Computer knowledge essential. Must be detail oriented in order to catch errors and discrepancies in ad copy. Knowledge of computer design programs including InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator.
