South Kentucky RECC is currently seeking applications for the position of Construction Crew Foreman in Clinton County. This position supervises the Lead Line Technician, Line Technicians, and Apprentice Line Technicians. Qualifications for this position are: High School diploma or equivalent and must have completed an Apprenticeship Program and have at least 7-8 years of experience in the construction/maintenance of overhead and underground distribution lines, Class A CDL License, CPR/First Aid training, Hot Line Experience and Pole Top Rescue training. Will be required to be in the “on-call” rotation and live within a 30-minute driving time (utilizing Google™ Maps to calculate the drive time) to the Clinton County District office.
A scheduled work week is 40 hours. Due to business necessity, the work week may periodically exceed 40 hours with work on nights, weekends and holidays possible. Most work will be performed outdoors with some work indoors and possibly in extreme weather conditions. Frequent lifting and moving materials up to 110 pounds. Frequent operation of large equipment. Frequent standing, stooping, bending and walking. Frequent climbing up to 60 ft. Frequent use of eye/hand coordination. Occasional operation of office machines.
