12 HOUR Rotating Shifts. 1st shift 7AM to 7PM and 2nd shift 7PM to 7AM available.

$15.50 / HR to start with a 1.00/HR Shift Differential for night shift work

Position Summary:

This position is responsible for removing product from the presses, cleaning, inspecting, and assembling the product according to the product guidelines and customer requirements.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

1.       Work in a safe and efficient manner using all personal protective and safety equipment and devices that are required, and following safety protocol and guidelines accordingly

2.       Record scrap and place in identified location

3.       Perform any required customer added processes such as labels or ID’s applied to the finished product.

4.       Stack parts accordingly to the Product Guidelines

5.       Check the quality of the finished product to ensure the highest level of quality and customer satisfaction

6.       Be actively involved in Continuous Improvement; is expected to promote and sustain any and all CI/5S/STW activities.

7.       Read and understand all product related documents such as the product guidelines, quality alerts, safety alerts, scrap reporting, standard work documents, customer option sheets, and growth metrics along with the using first piece as a visual aid.

8.       Clean, trim and assemble components using hand tools and use fit, form and function as required.

9.       Train other employees and assist other departments as needed.

10.   Complete all mandatory safety training and attend all mandatory meetings.

11.   Maintain general housekeeping and other duties as assigned by management.

12.   Work in a safe and efficient manner using all personal protective and safety equipment and devices that are required, in accordance with all STW documentation (if STW is not developed for any process within this job, proper training techniques must be followed).

13.   Be actively involved in Continuous Improvement; is expected to promote and sustain any and all CI, 5S and STW activities.

 

Education

·         High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred

 

Desired Work Experience

·         Previous manufacturing experience

 

Additional Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

1.       Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.

2.       Have good manual dexterity.

3.       Ability to operate hand tools (hammer, chisel, scraper, bottle opener, drill, etc.).
