Coordinator for Patient Services & Administrative Support

Counseling & Health Services is accepting applications for a full-time, standing position as Coordinator for Patient Services & Administrative Support in Counseling & Health Services.
Responsibilities: Manages activities related to patient services, appointments, electronic medical records, Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) compliance, and billing processes. Maintains department's administrative records, including personnel files, contracts, payroll including timesheets and leave entries, calendaring, budget, inventories, purchasing records, etc. Prepares office correspondence and reports. Serves as the central point of contact for the department in the absence of the director. Assists students with their needs and performs other job related duties.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Proficient with computers and word processing software. Experience with HIPAA and Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA).
Desired Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Health Care Administration or related field. Experience working in a university setting. Knowledge of Medicat EMR and medical terminology.
