Associate Director of Admissions/Technical Support

We are accepting applications for a full-time position as Associate Director of Admissions/Technical Support in the Office of Enrollment Services.
Responsibilities: The Associate Director of Admissions/Technical Support serves as a senior level advisor on admissions issues to other executives and employees of the University, including policy interpretation. This position supervises a team of admission staff who coordinate and manage all technical aspects of the recruitment process including processing of applications, direct mail, email, interest cards and lists, and vital records maintenance. This position is deeply involved in decision making surrounding the admissions process and is responsible in maintaining compliance with state, federal and University regulations. The Associate Director provides analytical support to the Assistant Vice President of Enrollment Services and the Director of Admissions. Significant responsibility for design and preparation of statistical reports on undergraduate admission and demographic trends. Prepares complex briefings on highly sensitive issues for use by senior administrators. The position develops technical applications in the office and serves as the resource person for office personnel in all admission technical aspects. The Associate Director of Admissions/Technical Support creates and directs the processing of all undergraduate admissions applications. This position also integrates all reporting functions of the office, manages technical support for all student recruitment and marketing activities, and serves as liaison between the Office of Admissions, Institutional Research, Registrar's Office, MSU Police Department, University academic departments, and off-campus programs such as Educational Testing Services, and the College Board. This position is a primary technology consultant. This position works to ensure the successful completion of the University's enrollment goals.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree with minimum of three years' experience in administrative leadership required. Knowledge of computer systems, including web development and content management processes. Excellent supervisory, organizational and interpersonal, written and oral communication skills are essential. Experience working in a post-secondary environment is required. Ability to work irregular hours is necessary. Valid driver license required.
Desired Qualifications: Master's degree preferred. Experience in admissions or related activities with ability to analyze data. Experience with the Colleague and related software systems preferred.
