Sufficiency Coordinator
Resident Opportunities Self Sufficiency Coordinator Seeking an experienced, energetic professional to assess the needs and coordinate community resources for public housing residents, assisting them in meeting goals of economic and housing self-sufficiency. The successful candidate will promote the development of local public and private supportive resources for residents. Must be able to provide outreach and encourage program participation to qualified families. Will arrange life skills training and counseling as needed. Markets the program to service providers and potential employers while recruiting program participants.
Must have the ability to establish and maintain successful working relationships with residents, officials, employers and the general public. Master’s degree in Social Work, public administration or related fields is preferred. Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in supportive services, direct counseling or non-profit management required. An equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered. This is a grant-funded position. Salary $40,000.
