Resident Services Coordinator
Organized and service-oriented individual needed to plan, implement and evaluate delivery of community services to residents of Ballard Place Apartments, an affordable independent living community in downtown Lexington. The ideal candidate will possess skills in negotiating and developing partnerships with local community development agencies and businesses, along with experience in general case management. Work will involve coordinating aging-in-place home management, referrals for assistance to residents in job placement, health care, substance abuse recovery, legal referral and transportation. Ability to monitor and manage multiple programs and budgets funded by public and private agencies, as well as speak with individuals and groups during presentations and meetings. Must meet periodic reporting deadlines.
A Masters in Social Work or state license to practice clinical social work are preferred. Requirements include BS in Social Work or a bachelor’s degree in gerontology, psychology or counseling. Related training and/or the equivalent combination of education and work experience may be considered. Salary $40,000.00 with competitive benefits. This is a grant funded position.
A pre-employment physical and drug screening may be required.
