The minmum salary is $14.027 per hour

GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The purpose of this classification is to assist in various trades including but not limited to construction,
HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry by completing repairs and conducting preventative
maintenance to ensure facilities are operating properly.
This classification works under close supervision according to set procedures
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
High school, GED, or specialized vocational training; and, a minimum of one (1) year of experience in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, or capentry depending on area of assignment; or, an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
*Identifies maintenance and repair needs
* Performs repair and maintenance work in electrical, HVAC, Carpentry, plumbing activities
* Prepares logs and reports to understand and monitor progress on projects
* Operates heavy equipment to haul items and complete tasks and projects
* Addresses service requests as they are placed
Additional Duties:
• May supervise part-time/seasonal staff
• Performs related work as assigned.
SPECIAL LICENSE/CERTIFICATION
*Valid Driver’s License*.
Position numbers 763 and 4431 require Valid Kentucky Commercial Driver’s
License (CDL) - Class B (Allows you to operate single vehicles with a GVWR of 26,001 lbs. or more OR
a gross combination weight rating (GCWR) of 26,001 lbs. or more, towing trailers/vehicles rated at
10,000 pounds GVWR or less. A Class "B" license also allows you to operate Class C vehicles) and a
valid Department of Transportation (DOT) Medical Examiner’s Certificate within the six (6) month
probationary period and maintained as a condition of continued employment
