SALARY
The minimum salary is $21.138 per hour
This position is eligible for overtime (non-exempt), if applicable.
Pay Grade 517
This position is eligible for Hazardous Duty Supplemental Pay ($90/month, $0.52/hour)

GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The purpose of this classification is to serve as a team leader for labor-related activities of one (1) or more subordinates and/or work crews responsible for the general maintenance and repair of LFUCG facilities, streets, equipment, grounds, and/or other labor-related activities depending on area of assignment.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent supplemented by, specialized courses/training that correlates to satisfactory completion of one (1) year of college education
- Four (4) years of related experience
- Additional years of related education may substitute for years of experience
- Additional years of related experience may substitute for years of education
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Supervises, schedules, and performs the labor-related activities of subordinates or work crews in response to on-going business operations, special assignments, and/or work orders; trains and evaluates the work of subordinates as assigned
- Evaluates and performs general landscaping, maintenance and repairs for LFUCG properties and/or facilities depending on area of assignment
- Organizes, supervises, and participates in the moving and delivery of furniture, equipment and other assets, as needed; and, assists with equipment delivery, installation and setup at public functions and events, as needed
- Performs administrative duties related to goals, objectives and performance including but not limited to data entry and reporting; generating bids; and, preparing and projecting budgetary needs for required services
- Performs related work as assigned
SPECIAL LICENSE/CERTIFICATION
- Valid driver's license
