SALARY
The minimum salary is $70,659.68 annually.
This position is not eligible for overtime (exempt); however, the city has a compensatory time leave program for employees that grants leave time for hours worked in excess of forty hours.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The purpose of this classification is to manage major programs that are essential to the operations for the divisions within the Department of Environmental Quality & Public Works.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor¿s degree in a field related to the job
- Six (6) years of related experience
- Additional years of related education may substitute for years of experience
- Additional years of related experience may substitute for years of education
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Plans, directs, organizes, oversees and supervises program activities
- Manages, tracks, analyzes and reports on program results
- Makes policy and best practices recommendations based on research
- Manages support staff and contractors including contract operations like turf mowing, land, road, and stream cleanup, and the panhandler van
- Grant Management within the program
- Maintains communication, responds to inquiries from the Mayor¿s office and council members, LFUCG employees, consultants and the public
- Represents the division and LFUCG at various internal and external meetings and assists with public functions and events
- Performs related work as assigned
SPECIAL LICENSE/CERTIFICATION
Valid driver's license

All positions require drug testing and background check before employment and may require a post-job offer physical as stated in Ordinances 21-14(b), 22-13 and 23-16
EXAMINATION
