SALARY
The minimum salary is $20.547 per hour
This is a non-exempt position eligible for overtime, if applicable.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The purpose of this classification is to provide opportunities for inmates to acquire positive educational outcomes and necessary life and workforce readiness skills to assist with transition back into society or treatment.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in a field related to the job
- Two (2) years of related experience
- Additional years of related education may substitute for years of experience
- Additional years of related experience may substitute for years of education
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Plan, organize, facilitate, and monitor trainings, programs, workshops and learning experiences that increase acquisition of positive educational outcomes, life skills, and/or workforce readiness skills for inmates
- Maintain communication and engage with other community partners, colleges, community based organizations and employers to develop relationships directly impacting inmates and programmatic success
- Facilitate and instruct trainings, exercises, or counseling
- Document and maintain accurate files, data and records
- Communicate changes as evidence based practice trends evolve
- Escort program participants as needed
- Performs related work as assigned
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
All positions require drug testing and background check before employment and may require a post-job offer physical as stated in Ordinances 21-14(b), 22-13 and 23-16
