The City of Lexington is seeking a highly qualified and technically proficient Construction Manager to continue implementation of a $500 M wastewater capital improvement plan. Under the direction of elected officials and the executive management team, the selected Construction Manager will be responsible for the day to day design and construction management of the largest public works project in the city’s history.
Required:
Bachelor's degree in civil or construction engineering, architecture, mathematics, or physics; and, a minimum of eight (8) years of experience with at least four (4) years in construction of large projects; or, an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.Must be licensed as a state certified Professional Engineer. Those with an equivalency from another state must obtain a Professional Engineer license from the Commonwealth of Kentucky within six (6) months of employment as a condition for permanent appointment. May be subject to weekends, holidays and callback duty.
