Our Team Members are poised and prepared to create unforgettable experiences for our guests. The Kla-Mo-Ya Casino & Sleep Inn will offer our guests a continental Breakfast from 6am to 8am daily. The hotel amenities include an indoor swimming pool and hot tub, as well as a fitness center for our guests. The hotel features 76 rooms and a meeting center.
PURPOSE & SUMMARY OF POSITION:
- Team Management: Interviewing, hiring, coaching and developing hotel associates and management team. Employee reviews in a timely manner.
- Guest Service: Maintain high service and quality standards.
- Sales: Working closely with the casino marketing and management team. Determines occupancy, pricing and yield strategies and sales efforts.
- Finance: Manages expenses according guidelines to maximize hotel profitability. Responsible for labor management, payroll, and hotel budget.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of 5 years Hotel & Resort experience is preferred Minimum of 3 years supervisory experience is required.
- Must submit to and clear an Alcohol/Drug Screen. REQUIRED
- Must be License able by the Klamath Tribes Gaming Regulatory Commission. REQUIRED
- Software Experience preferred - MS Office, Excel, Power Point, ADP, Kronos, XYZ HRIS
- Will attend Choice Hotels training before opening of the hotel.
EDUCATION:
A Four-year degree from accredited University in related field is preferred or a combination of education and/or hotel management experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities may be acceptable
All positions require the applicant to be at least 21-years of age or 18 years of age if an enrolled Native American; and able to present a High School Diploma or GED Certification from an accredited institution upon hire. Full Time positions become benefit eligible after the first of the month following 60-days. Part-Time Temporary/Seasonal positions are not benefit eligible. Indian preference will apply for similarly qualified applicants.
