Engineer III, Joy Global Underground Mining, d/b/a Komatsu, Lexington, KY. Perform eng. eval., investigations, fund. calcs & tests to resolve customer probs.  Prepare cost est. & specs for new equip. proposals.  Visit sites observe feeding & crushing equip. in oper, review app. parameters, recog. probs & recommend corrective action.  Review, revise & approve current eng. records related to feeders, feeder-breakers before released to manuf. for production.  Create CAD models, bills of materials & manuf. drawings feeders & feeder-breakers.  Resolve deviation req. for drawing revisions to aid the manuf. process. Dev. specs for Customer Retrofit Improv. & Safety Program.  Group leader for offshore design engineers & drafters for components, products and/or services & continual improve. in eng. proc.  Req.: Masters Mechanical Eng. & 2 yrs exp in perform eng. design & mfg, & assembly drawings, modeling of heavy equip; analysis & fund. calculations, cost est. for heavy equip.& materials.   Ability to draft manuals and/or specifications.  10-25% travel U.S. customer sites, mines, proc. plants & construction sites to evaluate equip.  Occ.
