Description:
Works in a .Net development environment writing and troubleshooting application software utilizing correct object-oriented principles. Analyze existing systems and formulate logic for new systems. Devise logic procedures, prepare documentation, perform coding, debug software, devise testing strategies, and execute test plans. Accurately communicate status and issues within the development environment (verbal and written).
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and write .Net applications for n-tier websites and application servers.
- Deliver across the entire applications life cycle – concept, design, build, deploy, test, release and support apps.
- Develop and modify .Net applications so they meet security standards.
- Correct defects and optimize performance for the .Net applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Other duties as assigned (including support activities).
Skill Set:
Skills & Experience
- Familiar with Visual Studio and Team Foundation Server.
- Working knowledge of the general web and server architectures, trends, and emerging technologies.
- Strong working knowledge of object oriented programming in C#.
- Ability to integrate third party libraries and APIs.
- Good understanding of HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and Ajax.
- Experience with web service integration (SOAP, REST, JSON, and XML).
- Understands API interactions end-to- end, specifically with RESTful APIs.
- Understands the current development landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies.
- Experience with RDBMS (preferably MSSQL) and SQL statements

- Ability to work in an Agile environment.

- Excellent debugging and optimization skills.
- Excellent testing/QA skills.

- Mobile development experience – iOS and/or Android
Required Education/Certification:
Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, or equivalent experience and/or certifications.
