Manages and implements season and group ticket sales,mini plans, groups individual ticket sales. Develops, implements, and ensures compliance with FIU policies and procedures for intercollegiate athletics.
- Leads the strategic planning for set up and execution of all ticket sales, new business prospects, and appreciation events.
- Serves as the sales department liaison between Game Operations, Box Office, Community Relations, and Marketing for all season and group ticket related events.
- Coordinates, confirms, and executes group sales fan experiences and events, including pre-event coordination with sales executives and clients. Manages the administrative staff and assists in the development of the operating budget. Manages the group sales fan experience calendar and inventory.
- Coordinates development of game day outlines and communication with departments involved in day of event support/troubleshooting.
- Advises senior leadership on status of current activities, prepares appropriate recommendations for solutions to problems, and coordinates the establishment of implantation of administrative policies and procedures, internally and externally.
- Identities and manages issues impacting FIU Athletics reputation, image, and public relations.
- Assists with establishing fan support and departmental revenues by working closely with other internal Athletic & FIU departments, as necessary.
- Adheres to all State of Florida, University, NCAA, Conference USA, and department rules and policies pertaining to the position of Assistant Athletic Director. Reports any known NCAA Violations or concerns to the director of Athletic Compliance and be responsible for the monitoring of any subordinate as it relates to NCAA regulations.
- Serves as the merchant account's primary contact. Handles sensitive cardholder information and/or processes credit cards transactions for the department/unit. Handles cash transactions on a daily basis.
- Performs other related duties as assigned or as directed. The omission of specific duties does not preclude the supervisor from assigning duties that are logically related to the position.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in an appropriate area of specialization and four (4) years of experience or Master's degree in an appropriate area of specialization and two (2) years of appropriate experience.
Advertised Salary:
- $52,204 - $65,000
