The Director of the Doctorate in Community College Leadership provides leadership and coordination, overseeing all aspects of the program, including curriculum development, faculty recruitment and management, student recruitment and retention, alumni relationships, and program assessment. Under the direction of the Dean, the Director provides academic and administrative leadership to ensure that the program meets its goals and objectives. The Director is responsible for maintaining a strong network of partnerships with community colleges, professional organizations, and other stakeholders to ensure that the program is responsive to the needs of the field. This includes developing and implementing strategies to support the program's growth and development and ensuring that graduates are well-prepared to take on leadership roles in community college settings. The Director also plays a key role in ensuring that the program is of the highest quality and meets accreditation standards. This includes monitoring and evaluating the program's outcomes and making necessary adjustments to ensure that the program meets its objectives. This full-time position is housed on-site on the main campus (Big Rapids, MI). The anticipated start date for this position is July 2023. However, this is an estimated date and can be revised if needed.

Required: Five years of full-time work experience in higher education, preferably advising, recruitment, student services, curriculum development, research, and/or operational management areas. Supervising and working collaboratively with successful teams. Master’s degree with an emphasis in education or leadership or a highly related field.
