Job Entry & Retention Support Specialist

Eastern Kentucky Concentrated Employment Program, Inc. seeks a full-time Job Entry & Retention Support Specialist to support individuals in recovery from substance use disorder to obtain employment and training. Job duties will be performed for clients within the following counties: Anderson, Bourbon, Boyle, Clark, Estill, Fayette, Franklin, Garrard, Harrison, Jessamine, Lincoln, Madison, Mercer, Nicholas, Powell, Scott, and Woodford.

This position involves providing a range of engagement services, OUD/SUD training, technical assistance, and support services to participants and employers. Bachelor’s degree and experience in social services, business, and/or peer support preferred. Work experience may be substituted on a two-to-one ratio.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Identifying employer partners willing to provide transformational employment opportunities for recovering individuals.
• Developing partnerships with opioid/substance-affected treatment providers to create job opportunities for individuals in recovery.
• Creating individualized employment plans for enrolled participants.
• Documenting case management activities within required timeframes.
