Purchasing Coordinator
East Penn School District is seeking applicants with a positive commitment to customer service, strong initiative, problem solving skills, and attention to detail who wish to contribute to the internal school district community in the capacity of Purchasing Coordinator.
The Purchasing Coordinator will contribute to the success of students by facilitating consistent, accurate, and timely acquisition of goods and services while ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local procurement regulations to obtain maximum benefit from the expenditure of financial resources. The Purchasing Coordinator works with minimal oversight, but interacts constantly with other individuals and departments to provide guidance on procurement procedures and activities.
Minimum bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Purchasing, Accounting or equivalent certification/credentials/experience, with two to three years related to purchasing, accounting, finance experience or equivalent desired. Knowledge of public school purchasing, principles, methods, and techniques desired, but not required.
