LEAD TEACHER

The Lead Teacher is responsible for the overall development and implementation of the education program in the classroom to keep the classroom compliant with state licensing requirements, Head Start Performance Standards and NAEYC.  

Qualifications: Associate’s in early childhood education or Bachelor’s in a related field or equivalent. Experience in early childhood classroom management, planning curriculum and record keeping is required. Experience working with children with disabilities is highly desired.

Salary: 

Associate’s degree $14.99 - $16.49 (hourly)

Bachelor’s degree  $16.55 - $18.21 (hourly)

10% salary differential for bilingual applicants (English/Spanish)

ASSISTANT TEACHER

The Assistant Teacher is responsible for assisting with the implementation of the education program in child development centers for children ages six weeks through five years old. 

Qualifications: High school diploma or G.E.D. is required. Experience working with children is required. Associate’s degree in early childhood education is preferred.

Salary: 

$12.22 - $13.44 (hourly) 

10% salary differential for bilingual applicants (English/Spanish)
