Head Start Pathway Specialist
The position works independently on comprehensive case management activities for families in accordance with Head Start Performance Standards. The position advises and assists individuals and families with a variety of issues and/or challenges through the Family Partnership and Agreement Plan (FPAP). The Head Start Pathway Specialist creates, provides, and coordinates services and activities with families and communities that foster strength, healthy living, and overall well-being.
Qualifications:
- a. Pathway Specialist I: Bachelor’s in family studies, child development,
social work or a related field is required, plus one year of Early Childhood
Studies (ECS) case management experience.
- Pathway Specialist II: Associate’s degree in family studies, child
development, social work or a related field is required, plus one year of
ECS case management experience.
- Pathway Specialist III: High school diploma or GED is required. Must
obtain a credential or certification in social work, human services, family
services, counseling or a related field within eighteen (18) months of hire.
Salary:
Pathway Specialist I: $15.86 (hourly)
Pathway Specialist II: $14.64 (hourly)
Pathway Specialist III: $13.63 (hourly)
(plus excellent benefits)
10% salary differential for bilingual applicants (English/Spanish)
