Financial Empowerment Coordinator
Financial Empowerment Coordinator (Fayette Co.) Community Action Council for Lexington-Fayette, Bourbon, Harrison and Nicholas Counties is currently accepting applications for the position of Financial Empowerment Coordinator. The position has the responsibility for assuring the Financial Fitness program is delivered successfully throughout the region by coordinating the efforts within the Council and with all partner agencies in the project; ensuring compliance in accordance with funding source requirements; developing program policies and procedures; providing training to CAC and partner agencies’ staff and program volunteers; managing internal program monitoring and reporting; and improving individual and family financial stability by developing companion resources throughout the region to connect with other programs and benefits needed to achieve success.
Qualifications: Associate’s degree in family and consumer studies, business, family studies, finance or related field required. Two years of work experience in personal finance, workforce development or related field preferred. MIS skills required. Knowledge of computerized information systems required. Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, leadership ability, budget management, and experience in staff and volunteer supervision. Must obtain a T.B. skin test, as well as any other screenings, physicals, and testing required by the funding source, licensing and/or regulations. Closing Date: August 1, 2019
Salary: $16.82 - $18.50 (plus excellent benefits)
10% salary differential for bilingual applicants (English/Spanish)
