Volunteer Program Administrative Coordinator III

Are you passionate about promoting life-changing service, cultivating wholehearted communities, and honoring diverse expressions of spirituality? If so, the Volunteer Program of Christian Appalachian Project would love to get to know you!

The Volunteer Program Administrative Coordinator will play a vital role in serving the individuals who choose to volunteer full-time with CAP for weeks, months, or years at a time.

This person will coordinate systems across physical and virtual workspaces to ensure the seamless integration of the Volunteer Program's activities, with a special focus on volunteer payroll, health insurance, benefits, and records. This individual will also provide direct support to volunteers by assisting with orientations, retreats, and special events.

Our ideal candidate is highly organized and enthusiastic about cross-collaboration with various internal and external teams to make volunteers' terms of service the best experience possible. S/he is able to balance a steady administrative workload with the often unpredictable, sometimes challenging, but mostly delightful events that occur in a human services/volunteer environment.

For nearly 60 years, volunteers have been the heartbeat of Christian Appalachian Project's mission. Come share Christ's love through service with us!
