A clinic in New York City is actively seeking a compassionate and patient-oriented Internal / Family Medicine Physician to join their staff.
About the Opportunity
- Specialty: Primary Care
- Patient Population/Volume: Mainly adults
- Hours: Monday through Friday, 4 days of clinical work and 1 day administrative; no weekends.
Responsibilities
The Internal / Family Medicine Physician:
- Performs history and physical assessments
- Provides services in accordance with generally acceptable standards of medical practice
- Develops a plan of treatment/care for the patient that also includes education and follow-up visits
- Makes referrals as indicated by the needs of the patient
- Communicates with other healthcare providers related to diagnosis, treatment, and plan for the patient either verbally and/or through documentation in the medical record
- Maintains current and complete documentation in the medical record that reflects the care and services provided to the patient
Qualifications
- Licensed to practice medicine in the State of New York
- Board eligible / certified
