Customer Service Specialist

Our client in North Haven is currently seeking a dedicated Customer Service Specialist to join their team on a temporary-to-hire basis. The ideal candidate should possess excellent interpersonal skills, a friendly and upbeat attitude, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Answer incoming calls in a professional and courteous manner.
• Retrieve and accurately enter customer orders into the system.
• Process credits for returned merchandise.
• Maintain high-profile customer accounts and complete discrepancy reports as needed.
• Utilize problem-solving and conflict resolution skills to address customer inquiries and concerns.
• Perform data entry to set up new customer accounts.
• Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a customer service role.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and JD Edwards software.
• Excellent typing skills and familiarity with 9-key entry.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
