Certified Medication Technician

We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Medication Technician (CMT) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be certified in the state of Pennsylvania and have a strong commitment to providing exceptional care to our residents.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications to residents according to prescribed dosages and schedules.
• Monitor residents for any adverse reactions or side effects to medications and report findings to nursing staff.
• Maintain accurate medication records and documentation.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living as needed, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Ensure residents' safety and well-being at all times.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members.
• Participate in training and educational programs as required by state regulations.
• Adhere to all facility policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations governing medication administration.

Requirements:

• Certification as a Medication Technician (CMT) in the state of Pennsylvania.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience working in a healthcare or assisted living setting preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in medication administration.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
• Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screening.
