Responsibilities:

Make sure everyone is safe.
Love and respect students while teaching them to swim.

Qualifications:

Must be able to swim
Caring and compassion for people of all ages and abilities
Ability to work in the water for periods of up to 5 hours
Strong communication skills
Great attitude and willingness to be coached
The ability to focus in a fast-paced environment
The ability to be flexible
The ability to commit to working afternoons and some weekends
Red Cross CPR and First Aid are required (We can provide this training for a fee)
Red Cross Lifeguard certification is desired
Must pass a criminal background check, required
One year of previous experience working with children is desired

Pay:
New employees must complete all paid training and the 90-day probationary period before qualifying for Instructor wages.

Instructor pay is $13.50 - $20.00 per hour based on experience and availability.
Annual wage increases
