Full Charge Bookkeeper

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Full-Time Bookkeeper to join our dynamic team at our Real Estate and Property Management Company. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with QuickBooks and possess a strong background in accounting, preferably within the real estate sector. Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations using QuickBooks software.
• Record tenant rent deposits accurately and timely.
• Maintain accounts payable and receivable, ensuring invoices are processed and payments are collected promptly.
• Perform bank reconciliations across multiple bank accounts to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.
• Generate month-end financial reports, including Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss statements, and other relevant reports.
• Coordinate closely with the accountant during tax season to provide necessary financial documentation and support.
• Provide ad-hoc reporting and analysis as required by management.
• Prioritize accuracy and attention to detail in all financial transactions and reporting.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
• 3+ years of experience working with QuickBooks accounting software.
• Prior experience in real estate accounting or property management is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
