Position Overview:
KWC is growing rapidly and is searching for experienced candidates for the position of Collections Specialist. This is a newly created position at KWC. This is an excellent position for someone with experience doing collections in the professional services industry. In this role you'll be interacting with our customers daily by phone and email providing superior service related to status of accounts, payments, and other concerns.
Essential Functions:
- Monitor the firms’ accounts receivable and identify overdue accounts.
- Contact clients with overdue accounts and attempt to either collect the overdue amount or establish a payment plan.
- Maintain log of activity related to contact with clients who have delinquent accounts and payments collected.
- Work closely with the Principals and the Controller of the Firm on collection efforts and provide regular updates and reports on the status of unpaid accounts and any repayment progress.
- Reduce overall the delinquency rate to maintain industry average or better days in Accounts Receivable for the firm.
- Strive to maintain excellent client relations through professional conduct.
- Assist with automation and consolidation of accounts receivable trough payment portal platforms.
- Assist with developing and Improving collection strategies.

Minimum requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of collection/billing experience in the professional services field preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
- Knowledgeable of applicable state, federal and tax laws
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software with the ability to learn new or updated software
