Junior Data Analyst

American Cruise Lines, the largest cruise line in the United States, is looking to add a Junior Data Analyst to our corporate team. The position supports all master data and reporting strategies within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Managing master data, including creation, updates, and deletion.
• Managing user authentication across operational and reporting platforms.
• Ensuring successful execution of ETL jobs and report accuracy.
• Provide quality assurance of imported data.
• Processing confidential data and information according to guidelines.
• Report development and analysis across multiple platforms.
• Managing the reporting environment, including data sources and security.
• Supporting the data warehouse in identifying and revising reporting requirements.
• Assessing tests and implementing new or upgraded software.
• Active participation in UAT strategies for supported application change management.
• Generating reports from single or multiple systems.
• Troubleshooting the reporting database environment and reports.
• Training end users on new reports and dashboards.
• Providing technical expertise on data storage structures, data mining, and data cleansing.
• Ability to work in and adhere to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Required Skills/Abilities

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics
• 1-3 years of work experience as a data analyst or in related field is preferred
• Ability to analyze existing tools and databases and provide software solution recommendations.
• Ability to translate business requirements into non-technical, lay terms.
• Demonstrated experience in handling large data sets and relational databases.
• High-level written and verbal communication skills.
