Job Description

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Schedule reservations, inputting all check-in and check-out dates and times into the company reservations system.

2. Provides the highest level of customer and guest services, expedites any and all requests from customers and their rental needs

3. Answer online inquires and responding to these inquires in a timely manner

4. Performs opening and closing job duties

5. Answer incoming phone calls from potential customers, taking voicemails if necessary 6. Answer customer questions about facility amenities and available guest services, may need to operate cash register depending on the marina 7. Provide customers with directions to various locations on and within the property. They also provide guests with pamphlets and information regarding services and amenities offered by the marina.

8. Maintains awareness of safety issues and reports them immediately to supervisor

9. Other duties as assigned by management

OPERATING RESPONSIBILITIES:

Work performed and composed of a variety of different tasks, calling for the use of sound judgment; and compliance with policies and procedures. Must be a self-starter and be able to work in a team environment to achieve team, department and company goals.

Assists with a number of projects at one time and may be interrupted frequently to meet the needs and requests of customers.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

1. Excellent customer service skills – known as someone who goes above and beyond 2. Ability to answer phones in a professional

3. Must have a positive attitude

4. Must have highly effective communication skills and time management skills

5. Must be able to maintain a calm, positive attitude during periods of high activity

6. Ability to manage multiple project simultaneously

7. Excellent attention to detail.

8. Must be able to pass a background check

9. Basic water safety skills

10. Must be able to work in extreme weather conditions

11. Ability to work under pressure.
