Position Title: Warehouse Representative
FLSA Status: Full-time, Non-exempt
Reports To: Warehouse Manager or Operations Manager
Pay: $18.00 per hour
Position Summary: The Warehouse Representative contributes to the company’s overall operational performance by handling all flooring materials received into, maintained, and disbursed out of the warehouse. This position will be responsible for the following duties and responsibilities:

- Read and understand production schedules and work orders to ensure the correct materials are pulled, measured, cut, staged, and dispersed to Flooring Technicians for daily load-out
- Receive, unload, sort, and place materials on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, or product code
- Safely operates a forklift in the movement of materials throughout the warehouse
- Accurately keeps inventory records by recording the number of materials received or disbursed on inventory logs
- Assist warehouse management with inventory audits by verifying inventory totals
- Operate Rasa vehicle to deliver materials to Flooring Technicians in the field.
- Keeps warehouse and outside areas organized and clean
- Follow all safety policies, procedures, and guidelines when working in the warehouse and operating any machinery. Advises warehouse management of any inventory or safety concerns
Non-Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist management with questions concerning work orders or materials
- Assist with printing inventory tags
- Assist with various responsibilities at the branch as requested by the manager
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Ability to operate vehicles, mechanized devices, or equipment
- Proficient communication skills: able to effectively communicate in both written and verbal form in the English language (bilingual in Spanish is a plus but is not required)
- Strong reasoning/challenge-solving ability: able to analyze situations fully to arrive at accurate, logical, and appropriate resolutions; able to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form; able to deal with challenges involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
- Detail-orientated; able to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Adaptable and flexible
- Able to work independently and in a collaborative team environment
- Basic mathematical skills: able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
Education/Experience:
- This position is entry level. Less than or equal to high school diploma/GED
Certifications, Licenses, Registrations:
- Maintain a forklift certification
- Have and maintain a valid driver’s license
Supervisory Responsibility:
- This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Travel:
- This position does not require any travel.

- Strength: employee will frequently lift and move 1-49 lbs., and 50+ lbs. with use of buddy system or forklift

- Audio: employee able to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and/or other sounds; able to express or exchange ideas, to impart oral information to clients or the public, and to convey detailed, accurate spoken instructions to other workers

- employee works in a warehouse setting and is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts, outside weather conditions, extreme cold and extreme heat, and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places; toxic or caustic chemicals; and risk of electrical shock.
- This role routinely uses standard warehouse equipment such as forklifts, box cutters, cutting machine
