Quality Control Manger

**Job Summary: **
As the Quality Control Manager, you will provide leadership and guidance for the department, manage projects, and ensure staff development in all quality assurance functions. You'll be responsible for identifying areas of continuous improvement, maintaining the Quality Management System, and managing internal and supplier audits.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:**
- Identify areas of continuous improvement within the quality department
- Provide development and training of the Quality team
- Maintain the Quality Management System for compliance with regulations
- Manage internal and supplier audits
- Ensure timely completion of part quality documentation
- Lead Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) plan process
- Oversee in-house product development and sampling
- Supervise staff and monitor production standards

**Accountability, Authority, & Responsibility:**
Directly supervises one or more employees and carries out supervisory responsibilities. Motivate, guide, and advise the team to combat challenges and troubleshoot on a day-to-day basis.

**Required Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's degree with 5-7 years of experience preferred
- Minimum of three years in a leadership role required
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work closely with all business processes and functions
- Strong independent thinking and organizational skills
- Ability to train, teach, and mentor subordinates
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule

**Preferred Qualifications:**
- Certification in Value Based Six Sigma preferred

**Language Skills:**
Strong communicator with the ability to express viewpoints confidently. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business documents.

**Mathematical Skills:**
Ability to perform basic mathematical computations and interpret data.

**Reasoning Ability:**
Ability to define problems, collect data, and draw valid conclusions.

**Computer Skills:**
Proficiency in standard computer applications.

**Physical Demands:**
While performing this job, the employee is required to sit for several hours and occasionally stand, walk, or stoop. Specific vision abilities required include depth perception and adjusting focus.
