As a Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst at Health Connect America, you will be an integral member of our team dedicated to providing outstanding care and treatment plans for individuals with autism spectrum disorder and other behavioral health conditions. Your core responsibilities will include:
- Conducting thorough behavioral assessments and crafting individualized treatment plans.
- Delivering direct patient care utilizing evidence-based behavioral therapy techniques.
- Implementing behavior intervention plans and closely monitoring patient progress.
- Collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
- Performing diagnostic evaluations to ascertain the presence and severity of behavioral health conditions.
- Meticulously maintaining patient records, including progress notes and assessment outcomes.
You're an excellent match for this role if you:
- Hold a Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) certification or are a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
- Have attained a bachelor's or master's degree in psychology, special education, or a related field.
- Possess experience in working with individuals who have autism spectrum disorder or other behavioral health conditions.
- Demonstrate a solid understanding of behavioral therapy techniques and principles.
- Are familiar with medical terminology associated with behavioral health.
- Exhibit superior interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with patients, their families, and team members.
- Understand diagnostic evaluation procedures for behavioral health conditions.
- Are willing to relocate to Harrisonburg, VA 22407 before commencing work.
Qualifications:
- Required: BCaBA or BCBA certification.
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's in psychology, special education, or related.
- Experience in behavioral health.
Benefits:
- Salary: $60,000 - $65,000 per year.
