You should have a mix of technical and customer service skills and be passionate about technology and helping people. What will you do?
- Maintain US System Admin servers and networks - requiring patching, updates, and integrations with other systems (Hyper-V Servers, Windows Servers)
- Knowledge of Unifi and Ubiquiti Equipment and the Unifi Controller
- Testing, deploying, administrate, monitor, and maintain IT assets such as laptops, monitors, external hardware
- Windows and Mac OS Support and troubleshooting knowledge
- Active Directory knowledge regarding user accounts and asset management
- Deploying and maintaining new applications
- Training/educating users on utilizing equipment and applications
- Reporting as a liaison to the Security and DevOps team with application bugs or issues
- Knowledge of Palo Alto Firewalls and Juniper equipment is good
- Maintain inventory for the US entity including tracking and updating inventory trackers
- Creation of troubleshooting guides for users as needed within the Wiki
- Acting as a primary IT contact to US employees internally even after hours
- SCCM knowledge and deploying application packages and images to machines
- Onboarding with all new hires
- Maintaining print servers and file share servers within the US entity
Requirements
- 2+ Years' Experience working in a system administration role
- Tech savvy with working knowledge of office automation products and remote control
- Experience in service desk application management (Jira, SCCM, Exchange Online, Microsoft 365, Active Directory etc.)
- Experience in Server Management - primary in Microsoft, Linux knowledge is nice to have
- Flexibility to work an on-call schedule as needed
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
