Chief Financial Officer – Construction

Auburn, AL, a $100M/YR heavy civil contractor, has an immediate need for a Chief Financial Officer. The candidate will be responsible for overseeing all of the company's financial operations.

Responsibilities

• Complete Company Financial and Accounting planning and oversight.
• Develop plans to increase company profit while reducing expenditure.
• Assist the CEO in developing financial plans
• Oversee all accounting procedures
• Managing employees – this position will have 5 direct reports, including a Controller.
• Financing and accounting for a large equipment fleet.
• Maintaining strong banking relationships and cash flow.

Requirements:

• Must have experience with percentage of completion, cash flow management, and general ledger for a self–performing construction GC, contractor, or sub-contractor.
• Experience working for a Heavy Civil Contractor is preferred but not required.
• Experience working through economic downturns, inflationary periods, etc... is required.
• You must have a 4-year accounting or business degree.
• Prefer someone local to the Auburn, AL area but will pay reasonable relocation expenses for the right candidate.

Compensation:

• $175K - $225K plus a full benefits package.
