Overview:
- Plans, organizes and integrates cross-functional information technology projects that are significant in scope and impact.
- Project Manager works with Business Units and external stakeholders from Oversight Agencies to plan, organize, and implement initiatives, including enterprise change management, to ensure desired project outcomes are achieved. The case management system which was developed as a tracker
Responsibilities:
- Developing project artifacts
- Facilitating stakeholder meetings to elicit feedback
- Eliciting requirements from stakeholders
- Facilitating/Participating in JAD sessions
- Tracking and reporting project status
- Communication and reporting
- Risk and issue management
- Scope management
- Enterprise change management
- Developing project business cases
- Performing other project management tasks as needed
Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience in project management that includes experience across continuum of delivery methodologies: predictive, iterative, incremental, and agile
- 7+ years providing guidance to large teams and/or has extensive industry experience and is considered at the top of his/her field.
- 5+ years of Experience facilitating meetings with internal and external stakeholders including Executives, Business Users, and Developers
- 3+ years Experience working on Enterprise Change Management strategies, plans, and activities designed to prepare and support people to adopt to changes in business processes, systems and technology, and organization structures
- 4+ years of experience working with stakeholders to determine and define project objectives and scope including criteria for success
- 4+ years of experience evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions by leading elicitation sessions with executives, managers, developers, and subject matter experts using variety of information gathering methods such as interviews, documentation analysis, surveys, site visits, business models
- 4+ years of Experience creating reports, presentations, and business cases and presenting information to leadership and/or other stakeholders
- 2+ years of Experience contributing to the establishment of PMO standards, processes, and internal controls including establishing SDLC
- 2+ years of Experience using ServiceNow Project module
- 2+ years of Experience working in State Government
