Billing Lead/Supervisor

$24.00/hour

Chicago Heights, IL

1st Shift 8:00 am to 4:30 pm

Introduction Statement:

Our client is looking for a leader for their billing department, you will oversee a team of billing specialists, manage billing operations, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. This role is vital to maintaining positive relationships with our clients and ensuring timely and accurate invoicing.

Responsibilities:

Supervise and lead a team of billing specialists, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
Oversee billing operations, including invoice generation, processing, and reconciliation.
Ensure accuracy and completeness of billing data and resolve any discrepancies or issues.
Collaborate with other departments, such as finance and customer service, to address billing-related inquiries and issues.
Monitor billing metrics and performance indicators, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions to optimize billing processes.

Requirements:

Strong understanding of billing principles, processes, and systems.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively lead and motivate a team.
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
