University Cebador (Part-time) - Texas State

We are looking for a University Cebador to grow awareness and sales of yerba mate in your respective communities by sharing Guayaki products with peers, organizations, and events on and around the Texas State University campus. You love where you live and enjoy amplifying the facets that make it special. You are engaged in hobbies and interests that connect to the roots of your community in meaningful ways - whether it be arts and music, outdoor recreation, or creating positive change. You'll create a brand spark by educating and exciting individuals about Guayaki and leaving them feeling connected to the brand. This is a part-time position, working up to 20 hours a week and you may work evenings and weekends. You'll report to the Field Marketing Specialist/Manager. 

How you'll help: 

• Collaborate with field marketing team to create an allocation plan to share Guayaki products within your campus community 
• Communicate your local knowledge, insights, and opportunities to rest of the field team 
• Establish relationships with important individuals/organizations/groups on your campus 
• Educate your campus on traditional yerba mate culture as well as our full line of Guayaki products 
• Search, plan and report product sharing opportunities within the student body 
• Work with the Field Marketing Manager/Specialist to coordinate sharing events and donation requests 
• Build and support the ambacebador community through meet ups and fulfilling product requests. 
• Support campus events through sampling when applicable (Rush Week, Homecoming, climbing competitions, school festivals, etc) 
• Organize programing and report attendance for local Guayaki Community meetups 
• Support events put on by Field Marketing Specialists in your local area 
• Promote brand engagement on your social media platforms with unique content (when applicable) 
• Potential to collaborate with sales team to identify and approach new retail accounts on and around the campus community

• Deep understanding of student life at your school and connected across various groups and organizations on campus 
• Passion for Guayaki's regeneration-driven business model, the brand, and the product 
• Ability to juggle several changing tasks week to week adapt to changing needs 
• Rooted in community - extremely engaged with their local community and has knowledge of local trends. 
• Professional team-player and collaborator with great oral and written skills 
• Enjoyment when connecting with new people 
• Approaches new and different ideas with curiosity and with an open-mind 

What you'll provide: 

• Currently enrolled at Texas State University
• High school diploma or GED 
• Current Driver's License with clean driving record and meet DOT driving standards 
• Must be at least 18 years old
