Building Maintenance Engineer

You will be responsible for supervising the property's complete maintenance and routine processes to make it fully functional, enjoyable, and safe. Compensation:$24 - $28 hourly
Responsibilities:- Maintain all hotel equipment, maintenance plans, safety policies, and brand standards
- Complete daily logs of operations, report maintenance problems, safety hazards, and accidents
- Understand maintenance systems and continue to learn daily as well as be willing to receive all appropriate certifications and trainings as requested
- Work diligently on assigned tasks and take initiative to solve problems and create more efficient processes
- Direct, supervise, and support the maintenance team
- Create a welcoming environment for guests and solve guest concerns promptly
- Be on time and prepared for scheduled shifts; Be positive and enthusiastic about work while working well with other associates
- Be prepared to support the property after hours in the event of an emergency or temporary staff shortage
- 2-4 years of maintenance experience is required for this role
- You should have the ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Stellar communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills are needed
- This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent GED
