Building Maintenance Engineer

You will be responsible for supervising the property's complete maintenance and routine processes to make it fully functional, enjoyable, and safe. $24 - $28 hourly

• Maintain all hotel equipment, maintenance plans, safety policies, and brand standards
• Complete daily logs of operations, report maintenance problems, safety hazards, and accidents
• Understand maintenance systems and continue to learn daily as well as be willing to receive all appropriate certifications and trainings as requested
• Work diligently on assigned tasks and take initiative to solve problems and create more efficient processes
• Direct, supervise, and support the maintenance team
• Create a welcoming environment for guests and solve guest concerns promptly
• Be on time and prepared for scheduled shifts; Be positive and enthusiastic about work while working well with other associates
• Be prepared to support the property after hours in the event of an emergency or temporary staff shortage

• 2-4 years of maintenance experience is required for this role
• You should have the ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Stellar communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills are needed
• This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent GED
