Digital Wide Format Printing Press Operator

We are seeking a Wide Format, Digital Press Operator to join our team! You will be responsible for the operation of several types of wide format printing devices.  All printers currently in operation are manufactured by HP and utilize their Latex Ink technology.  The proficient use of Caldera RIP software is necessary.  This software can be taught along with company processes.

Company products include Large Format Graphics, Vehicle Wraps & Graphics, Point-of-Sale Graphics, Décor Graphics, Banners, Signs, Digital Cutting, Digital Printing and associated products.  Experience with large format printing workflow and associated software solutions is preferred.  Work hours are scheduled from 8:30 to 5:00, Monday thru Friday with  overtime during peak periods.

Our customers are diverse and our graphics products represent many different industries including Fast Food Restaurant Chains, Retail Stores, Equipment Manufacturers, University & Higher Education, Construction & Fleet industries to name a few.

A Press Operator is expected to handle a print project from receipt of files until printing is complete. This consists of, but is not limited to material handling, press operations, job queuing, decision making on best material yield and proper use and maintenance of the equipment.  Good communication within the production group and customer support team is critical.   Position is full time M-F 8:30-5.

• Send print files to print devices for printing

• Previous experience in digital printing is preferred
• Ability to work in a team
• Ability to prioritize and multitask
• Positive and professional demeanor
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent computer skills
• Good math skills
