Essential Functions:
- Machining of solid and porous metal products to specifications
- Machining of high purity porous metal products to meet specifications.
- Straightening of porous metal products
- Cleaning of finished products when needed
- Rounding of porous metal products
- Assembly of components
- Inspect parts as required.
- Attendance and punctuality are essential functions for this position.
Machines, Tools and Equipment Used:
- Manual lathes, bridgeports, O.D. and surface grinders, hydraulic and arbor
- Presses, saws, sanders, etching and passivating tank, parts, washer, etc.
- Cutting tools, hand tools
- Measuring equipment; verniers, micrometers, bore gauges, etc.
