About us
Privately-held and family-owned, Brault is a practice management and revenue cycle company exclusively serving acute care independent physician practices since 1990.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years medical billing experience working with Accounts Receivable required
- Experience with workers comp/auto/third party liability preferred
- Experience with MedFM (AS400) and/or Athena IDX highly valued
- Understanding of and adhering to HIPAA, PHI guidelines
- Exposure to ICD-10 CPT codes
- Understand insurance guidelines including Medicare and other government, private, self-insurance, and managed-care plans
- Ability to easily read an EOB and identify how benefits were applied
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
Work setting:
- Remote
Experience:
- A/R Denials: 2 years (Preferred)
- Athena IDX: 1 year (Preferred)
- Medical billing: 2 years (Required)
- WC, Personal Injury, Auto claims: 2 years (Preferred)
