Fulltime/Perm role

HMC Management Maintenance of tape inventory control Maintenance of Tape Management databases Maintain Remote (PPRC/XRC) replication methods and support Taking system dump and traces MVS JES2 SPOOL & SYSLOG management Apply product authorization codes Review entitlements of external users(outside of mainframe team) SMP/E based Installation for Maintenance of z/OS and tools Support System Software Management Facility(SSMF) activities Support Parallel Sysplex Implementation CFRM Policy maintenance Couple dataset movement during storage server upgrade/ storage consolidation Support Logstream Definition and Deletion Mounting and Un-mounting OMVS files Creating zFS directories Digital Certificates Management ( also done by Network and Middleware teams)

Experience in Disaster Recovery setup and conducting DR drills.
Experience in Mainframe MIPS Optimization, Software rationalization
z/OS v2.x, JES2/JES3, DFSMS, SNA/VTAM & TCP/IP, RMF/SMF
Mainframe Tools SIEM, z/OS-SA or CA-OPS/MVS Automation
Experience in IBM z13, z14 & z15 Mainframe HW and Parallel Sysplex/GDPS-GDDR Setup
Mainframe Security administration with RACF
Provide Business hours support and then On-Call support as is the norm in BAU Service Delivery Role.
Monitor and Support IPLs and PORs
Update turnover/call log documentation
Root cause analysis for problems
Open problem tickets with vendors, as necessary
Resolving ABENDs and batch jobs owned by MVS
Escalate critical items to management on a timely basis, as needed
Consultation on product usage
Support installation procedures, standards, and operational procedures for Mainframe admin group
Participating in Disaster Recovery related activities
Support for all z/OS software products
