Certified Medical Assistant

We are currently searching for a Certified Medical Assistant. In this role, you would be responsible for meeting and greeting patients, updating medical records and providing assistance to patients and their families.

Applicants must be able to work fully onsite.

Responsibilities:

• Obtaining patient information and updating health records using proprietary database.
• Creating a welcoming and positive environment at medical facility.
• Explaining tests and procedures to patients and their families in a reassuring way.
• Recording patients' vitals, and work one on one with the clinician and technician.
• Scheduling follow-up appointments, procedures, and tests.
• Maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene standards of the facility.
• Assisting patients and their families to locate the facility's consultation offices and examination rooms.
• Stocking and sterilizing examination rooms between patients.
• Assisting Internal Medicine healthcare professionals to examine and treat distressed young patients.
• Performing other administrative duties related to the facility on request.

Qualifications:

• Must be a CERTIFIED MEDICAL ASSISTANT
• Experience with measuring and recording patients' vital health statistics.
• Proficiency in EMR Systems.
• Ability to monitor and efficiently communicate information about a patient's condition.
• Knowledge of standard healthcare practices and medical terminology.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills to support and reassure patients and their families.
• Ability to multitask and follow instructions given by healthcare professionals.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
