Job Description

Sales Coordinator

The Sales Coordinator will assist the sales team with various projects as required, to include creating, organizing and standardizing reports and matrices, as well as maintaining information contained in the company’s ERP system. This role will provide support that will enhance the team’s effectiveness, efficiency, and overall capacity to manage the company’s customer base in a more efficient manner by adding details and color to customer records, providing sales with a more robust customer record, and by providing more detail and targets for marketing campaigns. Additionally, the Sales Coordinator will conduct market research and surveys will be critical in establishing relevant market data for sales and marketing decisions. This Sales Team Coordinator will also help manage the traditional marketing items such as color charts, swag, print advertising development and ensure we close the loop with sales and all inbound leads. While not a customer facing position, this role will be instrumental in helping to implement the company’s sales strategy through close coordination with the sales leadership team.

Sales Coordinator Responsibilities

  1. Manage and prioritize multiple tasks and projects with a sense of urgency and ability to effectively navigate within a complex organization
  2. Research and create reports as well as maintaining existing reports through NetSuite, HubSpot and high-level report development from the system extracted data
  3. Work in conjunction with NewTech Machinery (a Mazzella Company) to extract information from their current and legacy ERP systems; entering that data into Sheffield’s ERP system; managing it moving forward
  4. Research and build-out customer persona and manufacturing capability data in the company’s ERP system and customer record
  5. Manage and update Skykit content
  6. Standardize and maintain regional pricing matrices, distributing to the sales team as necessary
  7. Standardize and generate customer pricing letters as necessary
  8. Create materials used for proposals, correspondence, presentations, and reports
  9. Assist sales leadership with market research of various initiatives as required
  10. Prepare Word, Excel, and PowerPoint presentations, agendas, special projects and other documents in support of objectives of the organization
  11. Keep track of and maintain large distributor rebates program agreements.
  12. Run sales reports through CRM and/or ERP systems as needed
  13. Manage information flow in a timely and accurate manner
  14. Other duties as assigned

Education

A high school diploma or GED is required. An undergraduate degree from an accredited college or university with a focus in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Marketing, or related discipline is preferred. In the absence of a degree, directly-related job experience serving in an administrative role, where a number of years and proven knowledge may offset the degree requirement

Sales Coordinator Experience & Skills

  1. Writing, editing, and proofreading skills are a plus
  2. Ability to work independently with minimal direction and solve problems creatively
  3. Strong attention to detail with accuracy and consistency
  4. Highly organized and able to prioritize multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
  5. Excellent communicator (verbal and written)
  6. Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple deadlines
  7. Excellent Excel skills are a must
  8. Knowledge in Microsoft Office products and Microsoft Teams
  9. Computer and software skills for editing, word processing, proofreading, and basic data entry is a plus
  10. Knowledge of HubSpot and Smart Sheets (lead process) is a plus
  11. Ability to build effective relationships with a wide range of people
  12. Must successfully complete a criminal background check, physical, drug screen and E-verify

Travel for this position is rare; less than 10%
