Job Title: Import Export Logistics Coordinator

Location: CARS Miami, FL

Salary: $25.00 to $30.00 per hour / commensurate with experience

Essential Duties:

• Process and facilitate import and exports with U.S. Customs with a focus on vehicle exporting both ocean and air
• Review and monitor customs import and exports
• Perform accurate reporting and billing
• Apply Export Customs regulations including 192.2, TSA, HAZMAT and AES
• Provide information and documentation to U.S. Customs and other government agencies
• Secure bookings with SS and Air lines and coordinate trucking
• Maintain effective/professional relationships with clients, carriers, forwarders and customs
• Inform and explain to clients about customs regulations, tariffs and shipping restrictions
• Ensure timely dispatch of cargo
• Work as a team with warehouse and other departments
• Ensure confidentiality is maintained and protected

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years college education required
• Minimum 2 years of direct experience in Export, Freight Forwarding, NVOCC (3+ years in Freight Forwarding preferred)
• Pass a security background check
• Must possess valid identification, preferably a valid driver’s license
