Sales Professional


Reports to General Manager


The Sales Professional’s role is comprised of three functions: Supporting Our Team, Serving Our Customer, and Managing Financial Results. Each of these functions require different skills and time spent in each area, but are equally important parts of being on the Bortnick team.


Supporting Our Team:


  • Knows and helps to expedite the processing of paperwork.
  • Coordinates Team Members to accomplish the work of closing sales quickly and efficiently.
  • Maintains cleanliness of showroom and used equipment areas as needed.
  • Completes certification requirements and training to stay updated as to new products and lines from vendors.
  • Performs related or other tasks, as assigned.


Serving Our Customer:


  • Greets all customers promptly and direct them to products that meet their needs.
  • Gives accurate and current information about the product for all inquiries.
  • Provides outstanding customer service at all times.


Managing Financial Results:


  • Follows up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity.
  • Prepares presentations, proposals and sales contracts.
  • Increases the current customer base by adding and attracting new clients.
  • Keeps daily records of sale of Whole Goods profit and loss.
